Worship
Our goal at First Christian is to provide meaningful worship experiences through contemporary, traditional , instrumental and choral worship music. As our congregation continues to grow in number and spirit, we worship Jesus in a way that is powerful and sincere.
First Christian Church–Herrin has two styles of worship to choose from:
8:30 a.m.: This service is geared to a more traditional style of worship, incorporating the use of familiar hymns from The Hymnal for Worship & Celebration.
10:45 a.m. This service has a more contemporary style of worship involving praise teams and praise bands.
Both services feature special music in a variety of styles. Preaching, prayer, and praise are the focus of our worship services.

Sunday evening services are conducted in the traditional style and begin at 6:00 pm.
